50th anniversary of STIHL
Growing together. Since 1969.
The year 2019 began with the acquisition of a new client. Stihl commissioned us to organise the 50th anniversary celebrations for its German headquarters in Dieburg. In addition to the overall organisation and implementation of the evening event, our task was to find a suitable overarching theme that would fit the STIHL brand and reflect its values of diligence, honesty, fairness, open communication and loyalty.
The slogan ‘Growing together. Since 1969.’ symbolises these values, but also two other principles of STIHL: down-to-earthness and sustainability. Sustainability not only because the products and services are used in forestry, gardening, agriculture and construction, but also sustainability towards employees and dealers, who have all been associated with the company for a very long time.
It was precisely these people who deserved to be thanked – at the ceremony honouring those celebrating anniversaries and dealers who have been with the company for many years. Those who attended the evening reported drum rolls, confetti bombs, posters, ratchets ... with which the employees showed their gratitude to their colleagues and partners on their own initiative, celebrating and thus providing an unforgettable evening for everyone. The sense of community among them could not have been demonstrated more beautifully.
The motto was naturally also reflected in the closing show and in the use of lots of wood and fresh greenery in the design of the location, which, incidentally, was a specially constructed tent city on the company premises.
A thank-you card from the Stihl Orga Team to our project managers read: ‘Thank you very much for organising our 50th anniversary celebration and, above all, for the heart and soul and passion you put into the event.’ Thank you, dear STIHL team, for choosing us as your Herzblut partner and agency for this event – our eyes still light up when we think back on that evening.
