Experience mobility
“We shape mobility in Germany.” – This is the ambitious and exciting project to which Deutsche Bahn has committed itself. And so, in 2015, we began our joint journey to accompany passenger transport through this transformation process. The idea for a series of events that would make this change visible and tangible gave rise to the “Experience Mobility” format. A multiplier event where the name says it all. Every year, the focus is on services and products that have recently arrived on the market or are about to do so.
In 2015, everything revolved around the train experience. Literally, because the ICE itself became a place of experience. During the journey, participants were able to try out the new services and products live, ask the developers and experts questions in person, and give feedback. It was a whole new form of interaction on equal terms. In 2016, the core content could also be experienced live at the event location. Stakeholders were able to test and try out the many innovations at the “Zukunftsbahnhof” (station of the future) Berlin Südkreuz while it was in operation.
In 2017, Deutsche Bahn reached a milestone in its transformation process. For the first time, in addition to current innovations, strategic topics with a time horizon of up to three years on which Deutsche Bahn is working specifically were also presented here.
The number of registrations has risen steadily from year to year and now stands at around 150 people. Over 50% of these are “repeat offenders.”
This is a success for the initiators and a special project for us, in which we have gained a high level of acceptance from DB in terms of content. As a result, we not only develop the concept annually, but are also heavily involved in the content. The trust that has developed over the years of our collaboration forms the foundation of this project.
