TO.GATHER SAP Signavio Camp 2023

Even before its acquisition by SAP, German unicorn Signavio was already one of the biggest players in the software industry when it came to optimizing business processes. Bringing together two worlds like this—a Berlin startup and a DAX-listed corporation—requires genuine commitment and cohesion. The stated goal for 2023 was to take all employees on a journey toward a shared vision and a shared culture.

But how can such a sense of community and a common goal be achieved in a global team in such a short time? In our view, there is only one way to do this: meet, exchange ideas, and experience things – in real life, face to face. And so the task was quickly clear: to organize a team event with over 1,200 international participants in February 2023.

The name “TO.GATHER – the SAP Signavio Camp 2023” set the tone for the event: Over the course of three days, SAP Signavio employees gathered at “The Station” in Berlin for a camp-like experience. We created a central stage visible from all four sides to provide a space for shared “campfire moments.” Additional teepee stations supported the camp motto and provided space for informal exchanges during the event days.

Whether it was inspiring and informative program items such as keynotes, best case presentations, and 100 parallel workshop sessions, or the incentive-based supporting program – the various halls were tailored to the concept.

The result was a successful corporate camp that informed and inspired its international employees and strengthened the emotional bond between the guests and the company. A wonderful example of effective connectivity.
